About
On a quiet stretch of Skeppsbron, where the Baltic light turns facades to silver, Hotel Ett Hem offers a masterclass in domestic grandeur. Housed in a 1910 Arts and Crafts townhouse designed by architect Isak Gustaf Clason, the building carries the romance of Sweden’s national style, all steep gables, leaded windows and sculpted stone. Inside, fireplaces crackle, books spill from shelves, and rooms unfold with the studied ease of a cultivated private home. Opened in 2012 by owner Jeanette Mix, it reimagines hospitality as an intimate ritual. The city hums beyond the gates, yet within, time lingers graciously.
