Belvedere has one of London’s rarest dining settings: deep inside Holland Park, in a grand building that began life in the 1630s as the stables and coach house of Holland House, before becoming a ballroom and orangery. That layered history still shapes the room. After its 2022 restoration, the interiors reveal original brickwork, soaring arches, fireplaces, palms and fig trees, with a terrace looking onto the park’s formal gardens. In the kitchen, Sardinian chef Lello Favuzzi brings real conviction to Italian cooking, with an eye for seasonality and excellent produce from across Italy. The food is precise rather than showy: handmade ravioli, raw seafood, wild sea bass, burrata, and thin crust pizzas from the wood fired oven. Belvedere gets the difficult balance right: grandeur, craft, and food with genuine appetite appeal.
