The room plays the part of a European grand café with brisk choreography: suited regulars, pre theatre tables, quiet power lunches, and a service team that keeps the tempo without turning it into a performance.  The menu follows that same cosmopolitan confidence, from early morning classics and kedgeree to schnitzel, steak tartare, and afternoon tea with proper scones and clotted cream.  In the background, the kitchen is part of The Wolseley Hospitality Group, overseen at group level by executive chef Charles Hilton.
