The building, designed by Morris Adjmi Architects with hotel impresario Ian Schrager, favors clean vertical lines and layered terraces that catch the Florida light with quiet confidence. Inside, warm woods, pale stone and soft shadows create an atmosphere that feels composed rather than flashy. Step outside and Tampa Bay opens just blocks away, along with the Riverwalk and the city’s historic core. The hotel arrived in 2022 as a signal moment in Tampa’s waterfront revival, proof that the city’s architectural ambitions have finally caught up with its climate.
