The hotel forms part of the new Wunderlich Lane precinct, a carefully planned revival of historic industrial land that now mixes design retail, galleries and restaurants with a distinctly local rhythm. Architect SJB shaped the building as a layered contemporary structure in warm brick tones, echoing the surrounding warehouse heritage while opening generous terraces to the city light. Inside, interiors by George Livissianis favour tactile calm over spectacle: soft curves, crafted timber and muted colours create an atmosphere that feels curated rather than staged. The rooftop pool and bar quickly became a social magnet, particularly at sunset when Sydney’s skyline turns cinematic. Dining is a highlight. Lottie, the rooftop restaurant from House Made Hospitality, serves refined Mexican inspired plates that attract both guests and locals.
