Few hotels in Valencia occupy a more strategic address than Only YOU. Guests included names such as Salvador Dalí and Sophia Loren, giving the property a place in the city’s collective memory. Today, the hotel has traded much of that classic grandeur for a lighter and more contemporary approach. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and thoughtfully designed, with warm woods, brass accents and large windows that bring the city inside. The atmosphere feels lively rather than exclusive. Locals still drop in for a drink or dinner, which gives the public spaces a welcome energy that many city hotels lack. Food is another strong point. El Mirador champions Valencian classics from its rooftop setting, while the hotel embraces local rice culture with the enthusiasm one would hope for in the birthplace of paella. Only YOU is not the kind of hotel that overshadows Valencia itself. Instead, it succeeds as a well connected, comfortable and sociable place from which to experience the city. The greatest luxury here is not seclusion or spectacle, but having much of Valencia at your doorstep.
