The restaurant sits at 12A Akin Olugbade Street, inside the Alára concept store, a bold cube by Adjaye Associates that feels like a gallery you can dine in.  The menu is shaped by celebrated executive chef Pierre Thiam, whose cooking draws lines across the continent while keeping the flavours readable and craveable.  Expect a confident “New African” register: smoky jollof, suya energy, bright heat, and dishes that respect tradition while sharpening the technique.  Take your drink outside to the garden for a calmer mood and softer light, then go back indoors when you want the room’s design to do some of the talking.
