Upstairs, the five rooms are deliberately composed. Each follows a single color identity, from cobalt blue to moss green, paired with vintage furniture and pieces crafted by local artisans. The effect is confident without excess. You feel the hand of a curator rather than a decorator. Some rooms favour social interaction, others offer the kind of quiet needed for longer stays, particularly the Alba suite with its sequence of interconnected spaces. The setting quietly adds another layer. A few doors down, at number 84, Expendio de Maíz has earned a Michelin star for its instinctive, ingredient driven approach to Mexican cuisine. It reinforces the idea that this stretch of Avenida Yucatán is less about passing through and more about settling in for a few days.
