Set within five acres of orchards and gardens, this old farmhouse is divided into two adjoining homes, each with its own private entrance. The owner lives in one of them part of the year. The only shared space is the swimming pool and its surrounding garden, located a short one to two minute walk from the house in the larger grounds. The owners may occasionally use the pool. There are also a few cats on the property. The house has thick stone walls that keep it cool during the summer and warm in winter with central heating and two wood burning stoves. Guests have access to a private garden as well as acres of shared land with fruit and nut trees. Inside, the atmosphere is calm and comfortable, with soft neutral tones and touches of pale grey blue. A pool table, shaded seating areas, and shelves of books on Spain add to the relaxed feel of the house.
