Hidden within the polished corridors of BaseHall 02, Artifact Bar Hong Kong feels almost engineered to slow you down. The project comes from the team behind Mosu Hong Kong, with chef Sung Anh applying his precise, almost scientific approach to flavor in a setting that is as considered as the drinks themselves. The space earned a Dezeen Award 2024 for Architectural Lighting Design of the Year, credited to Light Origin Studio and NC Design & Architecture. That detail matters the moment you step inside. Light is not decoration here, it is structure. It guides your eye across raw stone surfaces and brushed metal, shaping a room that feels calm yet sharply intentional. The cocktails follow the same logic. Expect compositions built around a single idea, executed with restraint and clarity. A drink might hinge on one ingredient explored through temperature, texture, and subtle acidity, each layer placed with quiet confidence. Nothing feels excessive, yet everything feels deliberate.
