About

Set on the edge of Ranthambore National Park, Aman-i-Khas channels the romance of Mughal hunting camps with remarkable discipline. Ten standalone tents, each nearly 100 square metres, are arranged with geometric precision around a central axis, echoing imperial encampments once used by travelling courts. White canvas, soaring canopies and dark teak furniture create a restrained, almost monastic atmosphere, where silence carries as much weight as design. Days begin early with tiger safaris, guided by trackers who read the forest like a ledger. Returning at noon, guests find a different rhythm: slow lunches, Ayurvedic treatments, and the quiet theatre of shade shifting across canvas walls. The cuisine leans into North Indian classics, executed with clarity rather than excess. Expect refinement, not experimentation. There is little spectacle here, and that is precisely the point. Aman-i-Khas demands patience. In return, it offers a rare sense of distance from the world, shaped by architecture that understands restraint.
